Update

Just an update of photos of the crazy kid. 8 months old and growing like a weed. He thinks he is pretty funny these days!

Visiting Grandma

Matt and I went to Mexico a few weeks ago. It was a beautiful trip full of sunshine. We had a blast. Axel also got to go on a mini-vaca. To Grandmas house! Here are some highlights of his trip.... thanks Grandma!

mmm.. cheerios

As Axel grows so quickly, I think that each stage is so fun I wish it could last.... then I think about how the next stage will be even better... Yet I cannot think that anything is better than a wet slobbery baby kiss and hug!

Axel is growing like a weed and has grown out of everything we thought would last us until summer. He is also becoming quite interested in the world. He still refuses to crawl, or even try. Why crawl when Mom and Dad can carry you! His favorite food right now is Cheerios. Every meal must start and end with Cheerios. Ohhh, how Sid loves this stage... he has learned that sitting under the high chair can be very lucrative!

Screams

As many know Axel has a very loud "voice" when he wants to. I caught this great sequence of the scream the other day on camera....

Dinner at our house

We have a little ritual started at the house. Every night when I make dinner, Axel tells me about his day from his rocker and the dogs try to grab a bite as it falls on the floor. I wonder sometimes why I neve feel like I have a moment alone....

Axel has a new favorite past time. eating. Keeping up with his growth spurts has become a new challenge, so we have starting spending more time in the high chair. I like to think he is reading his book in the photo, when in fact he trying to figure out how to eat it....

Self Portrait

Matt is a huge fan of the "self-portrait". Anyone who has left their camera out for him to grab is well aware that you will return home with a photo of him smilling into your camera. Always a treat for visiting families. I took this photo of Axel with our new camera last week and it reminds me so much of Matt... Axels first "Self Portrait".. HA!

So this is Christmas...

Well, our first Chirstmas has come and gone. Axel had a great time trying to eat all of his gifts. We spent the morning with Aunt Mary opening gifts and watching movies, then headed to Grandma and Grandpas house for dinner and more gifts!
