Growing Horns

Well, Axel is growing like a weed.. and like the devil. Yes, he is growing horns.
kidding. He decided that scraping his head on the playpen at naptime at Aunt Mindy's was a super good idea. Not so good for his looks. They say we will laugh about this in the years to come. Right now I am just trying not to have too many people stop me at the grocery store to ask what happened.

Sleeping for the Cure

Axel went on his first "race" today. The Susan B. Coman Race for the Cure! He slept through most of it as he was recovering from a bug, but he is sure enjoying that free T-shirt! (I do not know why the photo is upside down....)

First BBQ of 2009

When the weather finally turned this year, Matt called it BBQ time. The weather was still a bit chilly, and the patio furniture under the house, but we were bound and determined to BBQ. Axel had a great time on his blanket on the patio. He was waiting for his burger too....

9 months!

Axel is 9 months old today. It seems just like yesterday that he was not sleeping through the night and I was sooo tired. Wait. that was yesterday.. LOL. The stomach flu is a super thing. Axel is doing great and growing more every day. I love his outfit in this shot. Getting ready for his days at the country club.

Cold Walks

I have been very concerned about the dogs, the weather and our non-walking this winter. It seems we have not gone a good family walk in ages! I forced the whole clan out on a crisp walk this last week.... Needless to say I do not think Axel was as pleased as I was to bundle up and hit the streets, since I made him wear his snow suit.

Visiting Grandma

Matt and I went to Mexico a few weeks ago. It was a beautiful trip full of sunshine. We had a blast. Axel also got to go on a mini-vaca. To Grandmas house! Here are some highlights of his trip.... thanks Grandma!
