Another question we get a lot is "Is he sleeping through the night??". If you count sleeping on someone's chest for 3 hours at a pop, well then yes! The recliner in the nursery has become a favorite spot for Sid, as he always has someone to hang out with...

I swear that the question I have begun to dread is "do you have any photos?".. argh. no. but they are on my blog! I am going to create cards with the blog on them, as I cannot seem to remember to print some out at costco! So, with no photos in my wallet, here is a new Axel snapshot Grandma took at 3 1/2 weeks old.

Going to the doctor

After a round of doctors appointments the big news is that Axel is now 6 lbs. 14 oz.! YAY! He is growing like a weed and we are happy to have him on the upward swing in weight gain. Soon he will be the magical 8 lbs and hopefully fit into the diapers!!

Double duty

A few photos of the past few days. Things have been pretty uneventful... lots of sleeping and eating... and sleeping and eating... and so on.

Who knew that the bassinet was also a cat bed... Motley thought it was a good idea to sleep in the bottom portion of the bassinet for a bit. I am sure Axel does not mind sharing!

Axel's first ride in the car seat. He looks very concerned since I just told him Matt would be driving. HA!

July 2nd

Axel James Nellenbach was born on July 2nd at 1:20pm... 6 lbs 10oz and 20 inches long! Here are a few photos of Axel at 1 hour.
