Day 7 to 13

On the way to the lake, we stopped into Fort Niagra... wow! It is am old fort built in the 1700's and they even had a reinactment that day. Axel was in heaven! Then onto the house.
After 7 days in NY, it was an amazing week! Here are some highlights (and lowlights,  because those are what make a vacation).
We stayed in an amazing house on a small lake we had to ourselves.
Flies that bite are sucky.... literally. 🐝
Axel celebrated turning 10.
Fireflies are my favorite thing ever!
We got eaten alive by mosquitoes.
We found more forts to visit (hello fort stanwix!).
It literally felt like 106 outside.
Hanging out with lots of family and cousins is a blast.
Verona beach never gets deep, it is so fun!
Humidity makes it hotter (and my hair frizzier).
Axel learned how to kayak!
There is ice cream on each corner...
